We are now looking for an Allocation Manager to our Planning department within Supply Chain at Billerud!

You will be part of our committed Planning team and report to the Manager Allocation and Production Planning. The position is a permanent employment and placement can be in Gävle, Frövi, Skärblacka, Gruvön, Karlsborg (Kalix) or Solna (our headquarter).

As an Allocation Manager, you will monitor, coordinate and balance the short-term demand and supply forecast (0–3 months), considering production capacity, inventory levels and market conditions.

This is a specialist role where you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure decisions are made based on a holistic understanding of the mill’s production plans, customer demand, stock status and production possibilities. With a comprehensive view of the mill’s situation, you will play a key role in driving informed and proactive decisions. We are looking for a result-oriented colleague, a change agent who strives for continuous improvement and enjoys solving complex problems.

Your main tasks will be:

• Managing allocation volumes from 0-3 months
• Balancing and monitoring stock levels
• Coordinating day-to-day between Sales and Production to balance supply and demand
• Challenging the status quo and continuously optimize current ways of working
• Translating data and analysis into a communicative and actionable story
• Moderating cross-functional forums for mix optimization and decision-making
• Supporting the organization to achieve key KPIs within Billerud

Kvalifikationer

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• A university degree in Industrial Management and Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, good knowledge in both English and Swedish
• Experience in demand, supply and/or inventory planning
• A strong analytical mindset and structured way of working
